CSMichael
I've been using a VinPower RipBox to batch burn and import discs. It was working fine, but then suddenly, the disc tray would not longer eject to the full distance, so discs are no longer being dropped in the correct spot, nor are they properly getting picked up properly from the tray when ejected. I've tried the calibration feature in IMGBurn, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I've also replaced the optical drive in the machine, and updated the firmware, and with both drives, they are no longer ejecting to the full distance. Any ideas to why this isn't working properly? dbminter
Wouldn't be ImgBurn's issue, most likely. ImgBurn just sends default eject commands that work on all optical drives. If a tray is not ejecting all the way out, it wouldn't be ImgBurn's fault as it has no control over that.
LIGHTNING UK!
dbminter is correct, ImgBurn has no control over that stuff. The drive and its firmware control how far out the tray comes. Are you sure you've got the right firmware on the drive? Talk to Vinpower about it and I'm sure they'll help you resolve the issue. Autoloader drives have tweaked firmware to make it come out further.
