Mixed-mode CD stuck analysing tracks

Trying to rip an old CD here that uses mixed-mode. 1 track for files and the rest for individual music tracks. It starts and instantly stalls at the bottom just saying "Analyzing Tracks... (Session 1, Track 2). The log appears to end right there too with zero notice of what is going on. It has now been running for over 30 minutes without change.

I think I had a similar issue in the past with ImgBurn hanging on the analyzing tracks part. but in my case it was when reading a CD-RW disc, which those discs were pretty much faulty as once I got different ones it seemed to be okay after that on same drive.

off the top of my head... try another CD/DVD reader if possible on that same CD as it could be possible your current reader has trouble reading it and may work okay on other drives.

Generally, issues with freezes on Analysing Tracks are down to the device itself.  As was said, about your best bet is to try another drive, but there's no guarantee it will work, either.

Another possible solution is to not use ImgBurn, which kind of defeats the purpose.  I know I've encountered PS 1 games that ImgBurn wouldn't read but Alcohol 120% Free would.  You could try Alcohol and see if that works for this disc.

Yeah I found it odd that all of my discs except for 1 would work fine. I have a slightly different variation of the disc from a different edition of the game and it works fine. I eventually got it ripped but man it was extremely slow. I think it took 8 hours. But thank you anyways.
