KiiwJochen Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 Hi all, Here's my log file after a burn this morning I used cheap media for once - but I have had similar (but not as many) errors with Verbatim media. I'm burning a navigation system OS disc for a car nav system and so I'd like it to be identical to the image The nav software will get loaded into flash ram memory in the nav system, I don't want to introduce errors Can someone help and advise me what is the best way to burn CD-R to get a zero-error result? LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 3, 2007 Share Posted January 3, 2007 Your image contains info that the drive is 'correcting' on-the-fly as it burns - whether you want it to or not. ImgBurn cannot help you with this disc. MODE2 images are fine... IF the data in them is correct in the first place - i.e. the EDC / ECC regions must be correct/valid for the associated 'User Data' area of the sector.
