Playback Problems

i looked at all the posts with the same name or similar to avoid posting this, as i see many topics with this name. however none of the other topics answered my questions, but my question remains the same. i build an image, burn the image with no problems what so ever with a verbatim blank dvd, and when i throw it in my dvd player, it says "please eject the disc, this player may not support playback" but it works fine in my computer, ill post the log

thnx guys

ok, change the booktype... i know i saw the option "change booktype" before you can burn but no where does it say dvd-rom. are you saying booktype the disc in build mode to dvd-ram for single layer profile? where this setting can be changed with a screenshot or a simple explanation would be very appreciated

thank you

How old is that drive ? I checked for firmware updates as I believe there should be more supported write speeds than just

I 16:42:05 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: MCC 03RG20) (Speeds: 4x)

My drive can write to those discs at upto 16x but yours only supports 4x burning. At www.rpc1.org there is only your current firmware of 1.11 and it says your drive is a limited version of the DVR-108.

At the pioneer support page there is a firmware update that may be newer than yours:

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/content/suppor...t/software.html

Scroll down the page until you get to the DVR-MCC section (Just above the External DVD writers sections) and you could try that firmware update to see if it improves your burns and playback problems.

There is a link to firmware updates written by Shamus in my signature if you haven't done one before ! Good luck
