Help! I 'm know where near DVD ready

Ok! here's one for ya! I don't know what the hell! goin on here today, I jus started doing this I have a couple of movies from sharebear I want to put on DVD how do I go about, when I use image burn and go to browse and got to the folder the movies in they won't show up, then when i go to the bottom where it says all SUPPORTED FILES and switch it to ALL FILES it shows up but i get an error message (invalid or unsupported message)does anyone have the time to school me
