noob having problems. Warning: I know nothing

Hi there,

I am trying to make a copy of a DVD. I used DVD Decrypter to creat the VOB, BUP and IFO files. I followed the "Burning DVD Video files directly to single layer media with ImgBurn" guide. I am using an RiData DVD-R disc for the copy and I am running Window's Vista.

the drive shouldn't report raid, check your bios settings.

verbatim or taiyo yuden discs are recommended, ritek are not what they once were

Here is where I really show how little I know. How does one check bios settings? Is bios related to the startup of the PC?

Somewhat...

 

When you first start your computer, you hit a key to enter your basic system configuration. This key is usually "del" but can be F10 or F2 if you own either a Dell/HP/IBM.

 

It should tell you a small message say hit "this" key to enter BIOS.

 

Then again if you don't know how to get to it, I wouldn't recommend playing with it.
