Barry
Hi, When I burn a Video_TS (empty) and an Audio_TS from my hard drive to a DVD+R disk, my DVD-Audio player will not play it - it stays on STOP no matter what track I try. I can play the disk on my PC but it bypasses the main menu and just starts playing in PDVD. The Original files on Disk play just fine in PDVD with the menu. I looked around the forum and almost found the answer but that guy said he figured this out with out leaving in how.. Please help - it must be possible. blutach
What settings did you have in the Options tab of build mode (only recurse subdirectories should be ticked - same as for DVD Video)? As well, maybe your player doesn't like the media? We recommend high quality Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden media. Regards

Its not the dvd player, because it reads it and just does not run correctly and even the PC does not work the same as it should when i try off that disc. So its also not the disc. Its what is written on the disc somehow. What type of file should it burn = I have ISO+UDF 1.02 in the default settings - is this correct?
blutach
Yes. Do try with different media though. That RICOH stuff is not the best. Regards

Are they the same as mine from the previous post? And have you actually used this the same way and created a working dvd-a disc? Thanks, Barry
LIGHTNING UK!
I've never made a DVD-Audio disc and I doubt many/any other people have either! As such, you might find you're on your own a bit on this one I'm afraid. I've no idea if it would work.
blutach
No, but the theory is the same. Regards

Both from Audio_TS folders, and from a DVD-A authored ISO or IMG file as well. @ the original poster - what authoring app are you using please? How are you creating your DVD-A? Only thing I have issues with is the layer break as the DVD-A is mastered in PTP mode usually.
blutach
If in PTP mode, you'll need to extract the files and rebuild. Regards

So I have no idea - however, I did use a DVD+R, so I will try it on a DVD-R and see if that fixes it.
