help creating/writing xbox 360 games to disc?

This is my 1st post here & I just got imgburn today. Sorry if this has been posted/asked before but I searched & didn't see any topics related to my issue.

I did every step on this topic: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6380

but every time I try to create the files it's finished too fast. The instructions say "wait a while" on the above link but it finished creating (and subsequently writing) in seconds.

When I check the discs in my xbox 360 it says "can't read media"

Anyone have an idea what I'm missing or doing incorrectly?

I set the write speed to 2.4 for games

I have tried installing & using on both Windows XP & Vista

*I didn't include a copy of the log because the log says "successful" every time*

...any help would be greatly appreciated!

(also, I didn't see it pointed out anywhere that I had to, but I am not using DVD-Rs - just CD-Rs)

Thanks

April the 1st was 15 days ago

You need to be using + dual layer media to backup xbox 360 games you cannot fit 7.29 gig onto 700 mb Cdr

And the dual layer to use are verbatimg MIS 2.4x ones

All you managed to copy was about 13 meg of video files. That is all windows can see, the game partition is hidden from windows.

ok, so I've retried it with several different types of DVD+R DLs and I have the log as well.

The problem, as far as I can tell, seems to be occuring when I create the image from my games. It creates an ISO and MDS file but the ISO file is only 6.87 MB

I checked the firmware of my drive as well.

I'd like to not waste any more $$ on DVD+Rs..and I saw the "20 other topics on 360 games" but my issue never was related to the others or their external burners, etc

I said it can't 'copy' them.

I bet you a million quid that's 100% true.

If idiots on other forums are giving out misinformation which is naturally being picked up by google's bots, maybe it would be worthwhile to have something on the official web page about ImgBurn not being a decrypter or being able to copy x-box games?
