LIGHTNING UK!
My guess is you changed media, moved onto another spindle, updated the drives firmware... something like that. These errors come from your drive not liking the media very much. Copy and paste the log you burning so we can see what's going on.

Darksheer, I might be reading this wrong but, Imgburn can only burn images not decrypt or remove protection. You'll need a another program for that. Then you shrink the file and BURN with imgburn. It looks like your trying to just use DVDS to do both 1st and 2nd steps in one shot and then using imgburn. DVDS isn't being supported anymore since about a year ago. Hope this helps out, if not one of the other guys will be along to give you more help. Welcome to the forum........ It's not quite clear to me what you are saying....let me take a whack at it and see if I am right. DVD Decrypter was a program that would remove the Region Protection, thus enabling one to back up thier DVDs. Correct so far? ImgBurn is not designated to do that. So I require another program which will do so? Is that right.....In which my next question would be...what program would be recommended to effectively do this. By the way...Thank you for the Welcome. kevdriver
. DVDD was shut down 8 months ago for legal reasons. IMGBurn can only write to media, not read from media, it is an excellent BURN program only. Wish I could answer your last question Darksheer but........... Google is a good friend. IMGBurn can only write to media, not read from media, it is an excellent BURN program only. Yeah I figured that out awhile back...my PC is currently on loan to my father in law so I don't get much time to cathc up on these things. So now I am getting things back up to speed, and trying to do all my updating so I can "Back Up" My collection of DVDs. crockettmann
I have the same burner, and was wondering if it could be flashed to anything else, as I have noticed several references to flashing other burners like Pioneer to Benq, etc. Is the Lite-on strictly that, or is it just the firmware?
