dbminter Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Back in 1997, I think it was, they started re-releasing the original 3 Star Wars movies with new special effects. There was some kind of title addition to the names to reflect this. Extended Version, something. Anyone remember what these movies were called to distinguish them from the untouched (And, IMO, preferable versions) versions? Thanks!
mmalves Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076759/alternateversions - hope this helps
dbminter Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 Already checked IMDB. Unfortunately, that just provides too much information. I didn't sift through that list, even though I already found it, because it most likely does not contain the info I'm looking for. Information overload. But, I'll be fucking goddamned. It's naturally there, of course. WAY down the list, someone actually FINALLY uses a title. They were simply called Special Editions. But, it could have been a lot simpler by just listing the titles in the other titles list that IMDB offers. And, naturally, they listed nothing there.
Cynthia Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Look in the section 'Box office performance'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars#Box...ice_performance Not sure that's what you are looking for.
