burning a wmv or avi as data disc

Data discs don't have layer breaks.... well, the disc always has a physical one but you don't need to do anything special with it - unlike for DVD Video discs.

If it's freezing all the time then your player probably can't read the disc properly - no software will fix that.

You need a nice drive / firmware / media combo to get good burns.

For DL stuff you should only be using Verbatim DVD+R DL media. The 2.4x (MKM-001-00) stuff works best - and look out for 'MIS' (made in Singapore) as the ones from other places aren't always as good.

ok thank you. yea right now i use GQ dl disks, I can't find any verbatim at my local store, but i'll check again next time. The reason i got these is because they were on sale and EVERY single disc i burn has play back problems. so it was a total waste of money.
