computer can read but not dvd

I used isoburn and the disk is readable by my computer. However when I try the dvd player it just says loading.

I followed the How to write DVD Video (IFO/BUP/VOB) files to a double layer disc guide to the letter. The format was vob do I need another format

please help

On the burned disc, do you have a file structure with a VIDEO_TS map in the root with the .ifo, .bup. and .vob files inside? It should look something like this:
