How come it dun support create cue by automatic during create image like previous version anymore?

Hoping for a beta of v3 to play with ;)

yangxi,

It creates them when it needs to - i.e. not when it can make an ISO instead of a BIN.

doctorjellybean,

There's been no progress on v3, too much other stuff on at the moment.

v3 is therefore a LONG way off yet.

becoz it is not convenient when i need to separate my image file by chopping it into each 2gb size for a full 4.4gb image.

CUE is only for CD so it would never make one on a DVD image.

If you enable file splitting the program will create an MDS for DVD images.

thx lightning for explaining, u r so gentle & patient to solve my question. long live imgburn.

Put it this way... if it wasn't ok to do that, the program wouldn't let you. :)

then the next update should not allow burning of ritek d01

Do you know when the new version will be out?

Posted

what new version? 2.4.2.0 is the newest version

Posted

i know 2.4.2.0 is the latest version

but when will be released newer, 2.4.3.0 or whatever verison will be

if 2.4.2.0 is the last version that will ever be then your answer have sense

Posted

the sense in my answer is that 2.4.2.0. is the latest release, there will only be a new release when the author (LIGHTNING_UK!) decides it is time for a new release, there is no time schedule for this so please enjoy the latest release and the programme will notify you when there is a new release

Hi Luk, I am having problems and lots of conflicts of driver with Nvidia Chipsets. I have tried a number of Burners from Sony,Lg,Samsung to Moserbaer. Can u Please tell if this issue will be taken care of by the latest Version of Imgburn.

Posted

Yes but it's the driver that has the issue, not ImgBurn.

You should get on to nvidia and have them fix it.

Hi, Thanks a lot for imgburn. It's terrific. However, I have been unable to figure out how to choose chapters in a dvd movie for a sellective burn. Any help or pointers will be much appreciated.

Thanks again.

You'll have to use a re-authoring program then, as ImgBurn burns stuff as it is (i.e. it doesn't change anything).

Betas are not for public release or to be "played with".

Ouch! Was that a slap on the wrist lol? Hmm, sounds like there is indeed a newer version in the works :)

All I meant was that they get "tested" - not "played with". As has been said many many times before, unlike other well known progs, ImgBurn does not release public betas with new features that might not be 100% tested only to have dozens of threads about "this or that not working". It's just the way LUK goes about quality control. Only on very rare occasions, where a problem might be specific to a user, will a beta be available to that user.

Regards
