kirk1701™ Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Figured jerseyguy would get a kick out of this Brown Shifts Blame for Katrina Response WASHINGTON (AP) - A combative Michael Brown blamed the Louisiana governor, the New Orleans mayor and even the Bush White House that appointed him for the dismal response to Hurricane Katrina in a fiery appearance Tuesday before Congress. Jerseyguy Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 he does make a few legit points...like that ass of a mayor they have for not using all means to get people out before the flooding started.. to me it seems like they are blaming him for everything..which is wrong..

YES! They are using him as the fall guy and I do wonder how they expected him to force the governer and the mayor's hand which were already against him to start with.
lfcrule1972 Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I also heard that at no point during the crisis was anyone heard to be playing Cuntry and Western music........ so in that sense it wasn't all bad !!! Sorry
polopony Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 all of them want to point the finger at someone else for the screwup, there is enough blame to go around and that includes the people of New Orleans and Biloxi who wouldn't heed the warnings and get out .Many who stayed thought it was a case of crying wolf becaus they've had warnings about past hurricanes that were going to hit the area and never did and thought it was more of the same
