tom942 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 (edited) Hello LIGHTNING UK!, First of all, to say that ImgBurn is a great, great piece of software. I like it a lot. Thank you for develop it and I hope you can do it for a long time . I mainly use it for DVD-Video and burn some ISO images. Well, I've been browsing the forum and I've seen in several threads that you are not going to support CloneCD RAW writing for CD images (.ccd, .img, .sub). So here is my question: If I mount the .cdd with Daemon Tools and burn it with ImgBurn in build mode, will it still ignore the subchannel data (.sub)?. and well, a similar question for Alcohol 120% images with subchannel data: will ImgBurn also ignore subchannel data? Thank you and regards . Edited October 17, 2008 by tom942
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Build mode just works with the files and therefore not at a level where subchannel even comes into the equation.
tom942 Posted October 17, 2008 Author Posted October 17, 2008 So the only way to burn the subchannel data is with the program that create the image, isn
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 That or one that supports RAW mode burning and the type of image file you've got, yes.
kusal11 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Hmmm....I'm still confused. I also have some disks with subchannel data (playstation games and some other pc games) and ImgBurn is unable to make a image. Alcohol 120% and CloneCD can. Why doesn't ImgBurn have compatibility for these types of disks????
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Because ImgBurn doesn't support RAW mode writing and it's just not needed in day to day 'legal' copying/burning.
