Many4499 Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 Hi can somebody tell me why is this happening i have SH-S202J SAMSUNG drive and when i am burning some things on verbatim dvd+r dl dvd it burns it without errors but when i take the dvd out from the drive i see circle scratches on the edge of dvd? please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mmalves Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 I've seen that happen when the drive doesn't fully stop spinning the disc before opening the tray (if this is the case you can hear the disc "grinding" against the tray just before it slides out). Does your burner have the latest firmware SB02? If it doesn't, upgrade it and see if it solves the problem. Should the problem not be solved, exchange the drive under warranty as it's defective.
