Creating iso from cue sheets

It seems to me the only way you can use a cue sheet is to write the data to a CD.

I'd like instead to create an iso image.

Is it possible with ImgBurn?

An example of use:

loading an image file in a virtual CD-ROM - a cue sheet cannot be used because contains .mp3 files

Thanks in advance,

Simon

What virtual CD-ROM program you using?

Daemon Tools Lite.

I know I use Alcohol 52% Free Edition and you can mount cue files with it but I think the cue file you find with mp3 is to load a song list

I concord but sometimes I'd like to check the quality of the final CD without burning it.

The best way would be to create an image file, to load it in a virtual CD and to play it with a media player (or more).

Another use of this mechanism would be the conversion of an image file to another, more used and compatible, format.

Burn your cuesheet to a CD-RW then use Read mode to creat a BIN/CUE image from that, which you can mount with Daemon Tools/Alcohol/etc.

Surely this the straightforward solution.

My original question was related to the fact that ImgBurn has the possibility to create iso images in "build" mode, to read other types of images in "write" mode but strangely not to convert between image formats.

Do you know any freeware program to do this - I found the various M*ISO, P*ISO, U*ISO, Vir**CD but they aren't free
