Remove any disc and close the tray before updating. Reboot after it has finished. You may also want to try burning at 8x or 12x. The best blanks are Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden, so, if you've paid more for the ones you're using, you were ripped off. i'm running at a speed of 5 cause my player cant read faster burned DVD's.
