Coookie
When i want to burn an img to a dvd or cd or w/e and i enter 2.4x as the max speed at the burning window it shows 4-5x at the write rate? Did i understand something wrong or is it just not doing what i want it to do and if so how to fix it?
LIGHTNING UK!
Look at the 'Supported Write Speeds' bit of text in the panel on the right. That's all your drive supports on the current media. You can't force it to use a speed it doesn't support, it'll simply ignore the request.

LIGHTNING UK!
If the firmware supports it, yeah. It's all down the the drive manufacturers really.
