Lite-ON IHAS422-08 problem

Problem with new DVD writer Liteon model Lite-ON IHAS422-08

 

I enabled the "Online Hyper Tuning" Imgburn can't detect this option befere start writing. unlike my previous DH -20A3p it can detect its function.

Hi and welcome to the forum, omni! :)

 

The next version will. Until then you can solve it by manually add this string

 

ATAPI iHAS422 8

 

in

 

Main Menu -> Tools -> Drive -> Change Advanced Settings ->click on the button 'Advanced' and select 'Lite-On' in the drop down list, then insert the string and you're done after you clicked 'OK'.

 

If you also want ImgBurn to book type +R media, do the same in the 'Change Book Type' function.

They're actually the same thing so if you add it under one it'll be there under the other.

 

That is to say, the 'Configure Drive OEM' screen applies to both the 'Change Advanced Settings' and the 'Change Book Type' functions.

Still no succeed

 

I'll just wait for the new update of Imgburn. I think it has to do with the firmware. my firmware is 4L16 I think its too advance as of now. even rpc1.org can't find a firmware for my my new writer. 22x series :/
