Operation failed

Ive cleaned the len's, Reloaded Imageburn, cleaned computer no luck . Below is my log, Any suggestions?

Thanks Lighting UK, Your right it is about 5 or 6 years old but I did update the firmware recently to 106F. But I think I will take your advice and convert it to 2500/2510 model.

What's the source drive for those files? Is it an internal or external HD or network drive? It also looks like your burner is in PIO mode (look in the FAQ thread).

The source of the files is an external drive, (Western Digtal). I checked the FAQ thread as you suggested and Primary IDE Channel properties show the following

 

Transfer Mode- DMA if available

Current Transfere Mode- PIO Mode

 

In the Transfer mode setting I have the option to change it from DMA if available to PIO but in the Current transfer mode setting there is no option to change it.

Check your external drive for fragmentation and defragment it if needed. Also, in order to prevent buffer underruns, avoid using it while burning :thumbup:
