Krimo Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Hello Everyone, I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop with a HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GA10N Dual layer DVD burner. I want to burn Xbox 360 backups. I've only had two successful burns and the rest were failures. I use Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4 write speed high quality discs, made in singapore everything. I keep getting an I/O error! sometimes right away, and sometimes after 7% in the burn. I looked at numerous forums about this issue and did what they said and still no luck. Can somebody out there from IMGBURN help me. I'm tired of throwing away my money. If it doesn't work then try cleaning the burner with a lens cleaning disc. Thanks mmalves, I updated my drive's firmware, but as a result i only had one successful burn. Sometimes it would get to as high as 40% and then show the I/O Error! screen. I would try to clean the lens of my dvd burner but i don't believe thats the issue because my dvd drive is built into the laptop, kinda how a cd player looks like in a car stereo where its just a slit that you pop the cd in. anyways heres my new error log: I 19:14:48 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! Maybe another program can be interfering with it? I've tried shutting down numerous other programs.
