Xavier Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Hello, First of all sorry if somewhere in forum was solution for my problem, but in last two days I too much tiered to search more information about this problem. I saw this problem has more people, but I didn't found any good solution for Liteon etau 108. Please help and I think I am not alone will be very thankful for you help. My problems is that I trying to install hitman absolution xgd3 and than imgburn do verify it always stops on 49% with I/O error! I already wasted 8 disk for resolving this problems and tried many different settings, but without any success. I also tried to install into xbox hdd but also without any success. Than I trying to play from disk game it always freeze in the beginning. So I decided to test with Far cry 3. Again same problem , but from dvd I can play, but I don't know what will be than game reach those 49%. So maybe you have any suggestions what setting I should try. I found in some forums that for etau I must choose settings like these: Perform OPC disabledSmart burn enabledFHT enabled OHT disabledOS disabled but as I told no luck. LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Clear OPC History and try again. If it still doesn't work, maybe your drive just isn't up to the job of overburning. I found in this forum http://www.ixtreme.net/open-forum/17835-how-burn-xgd3-using-ihas-burnermax-imgburn-verify-using-kprobe-2-a.html that if i use mkm003 i need to check OPC burn proof disable and boofer size 512mb. What you think should i do this option. I know that something similar with one cd i already doneand without success. Nowt i want you opinion about this options using etau108? Xavier Posted February 12, 2013 Author Share Posted February 12, 2013 OK guys i am a genius. joking I found solution after many tests. ofcourse this solution not for all. My xbox long time ago was banned so for me it's not important to write disk very accurately. So i write game without burn max playtool with truncate mode. In this mode game wrote without any problems and even verify 100%. Then installed game to xbox hard disk. And to lunch game i use thouse bad dvd's which i wrote with burn max playtool. Thats all. Now i have no problems and now i can play xgd3 games from xbox hard disk and without any errors. Afcourse always i will need to write two dvd's for one game.
