LIGHTNING UK!
If you made the image in the first place, try making it again in another drive and see if that drive shows the same original layer break position.
sailorboy
Hi, I have not made the image myself. However, the person who did it instructed to use ImgBurn 2.4.4. It was actually 4 images that I received and 2 out of these worked well, while 2 gave same errors about optimal layer break. Can I change this parameter? LIGHTNING UK!
2.4.4.x is ancient. I don't know what files you've actually got there but I'd assume the layer break position is being read from the .MDS file or a .DVD file. If it's in a .DVD file then it's easy enough to edit in Notepad. Of course editing this value may prevent the disc from working (if it's something the disc/device checks for)... but then it's impossible to burn a disc with that (non multiple of 16) layer break position so you're stuck either way. sailorboy
Don't know if the device will work using the DVD double layer R+ Verbatim disc, but at least it is worth a trial if only the ImgBurn could start making the disc image from the harddisk to the DVD.
