crispy81 Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Has anyone else encountered this before? I burn my iso movie file to a BD-R RE DL, Verbatim of course, and it completes fine. The issue is playback, at the layer change it stops and sometimes will continue on a whole chapter afterwards or the Bluray player will stop playback altogether. I don't have another blank bluray disc to test it. but every movie I burn that is a large iso does the same thing. Bluray player has the latest firmware... shame, I like Samsung Bluray players. crispy81 Posted March 29, 2016 Author Share Posted March 29, 2016 It seems to be happening on all images I burn to Verbatim BD-RE. Not game to try it on a normal BD-R DL and waste a disc. I don't know if it's the disc or the drive. I need to get another couple of rewritables to test and if they all do it, it must be my pioneer burner. LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 29, 2016 Share Posted March 29, 2016 It's nothing to do with what you're burning to the disc, the disc itself is just unreadable after the burn. How many of the BD-RE disc have you got / tried? It might be worth doing a full format on it and see if the same thing happens.
