Ugh, trouble with switching layers

Hi, I'm new to the forums, have had ImgBurn for a while and I was trying to burn a dual layer DVD. Problem is, it quits half way through, mainly when writing to the second layer.

I have a Lite-On SOHW 832s with CG5M fw. I am using Verbatim +R DL at 2.4x

Heres the log:

Oh, didn't know that MKM-003-00 was bad, well strangely CloneCD burned it successfully, but it might of been a good disc out of a bad batch. Also the video stuttered on the disc, so I was wondering if I should substitute the MKM-001-00 write strategy for the generic one it is probably using because the firmware doesn't have a MKM-003-00 strategy. How do I know what strategy ImgBurn or CloneCD is using when it detects MKM-003? And what do I substitute/swap to change the strategy?

Oh no, I meant patching firmware in Omnipatcher and reflashing my drive to sub in the MK-001-00 strategy for the generic strategy.

As for the CDspeed scanning thing, I can't find it and I don't think my drive supports it (its a geezer now). I think I'm going to skip all of this trouble and just get a better drive for the $40 it takes to buy one and the MKM-001 discs rather than dealing with all of this trouble.

Thanks for the help
