:( HELP HELP ( Writing Layer 1 error)

IMgburn team pls help me

 

- I have now wasted more than 5 dvd's dual layer

 

Here are my logs, i never use to have this problem. Now i have and need to fix this. please help

 

after writing 50% starting to write Layer 1 this error pop's up

I 13:49:37 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: CMC MAG-D03-64) (Speeds: 2.4x)

 

In addition to what the :worthy: Boss :worthy: said, get some decent discs. We only recommend Verbatim DataLifePlus made in Singapore for DL writing or Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim (Singapore) for single layer writes. :thumbup:

Update your firmware, 1.0f is out now.

 

 

THANK YOU! i have updated the firmware. and was able to write my first disk.

 

Also i use Melody brand - DL disk for writing.

PROBLEM

- After successful Completion of writing to DISK. My player is not playing the written disk. :(

- My player just ejects the DVD out :(

Did you burn and verify?

 

Please post a log once you've done that.

No i have not done verify is it a must ?

 

I just realized that when i was troubleshooting it before i had left it unchecked... soo that is why my player ejecting the dvd out ? not sure.

please advise

Ok, am burning another movie - it will be done in 30min ... this time its verify checked.

Hi

 

i just got a new pioneer dvr-116d - i updated to 1.09 and am having issues with the verbatim dl at 2.4 x

 

any ideas - is there a newer firmware?

what do you figure the issue is??

 

here is imgburn log

 

burning at 2.4x

 

verbatim are rated to 8x but are the 2.4x discs (mkm-001-000)
