Write Protected error trying to burn BDMV

Why can't i burn a BDMV Blu-Ray? I keep getting "Write Protected" error, i'm using a Verbatim BD-R 25 gb disc.

Try some *non* LTH (Low To High) Verbatims - i.e. some HTL ones!

 

LTH is a newer (cheaper) format of BD disc that not all drives support.

 

If the manufacturer of your machine can provide you with a firmware update for the drive then you might be ok, but at the moment you should stick to HTL discs.
