RDremixed
hello everyone! this is my first time trying something like this, so please bear with me! if my problem is ridiculously simple to solve, I'm sorry for troubling anyone, but I'd much appreciate the help! I downloaded a computer game from a torrent (it's in .iso format) and I'm trying to use ImgBurn to write the image file onto a disc (PHILIPS DVD+-RW DVD8631). I keep getting a message that says "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present)," but I have the blank disc inserted into the drive. Here's a screenshot of my log and the ImgBurn window: Please help! ianymaty
Your drive don't like the disc you using or can't burn that format
chewy
If that's a dell then you might try the newer firmware http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R101954&formatcnt=1&libid=0&fileid=132121 You might have to find some older 8x blank media? RDremixed
I fixed it! I ended up using a different software, UltraISO, and that worked. thanks so much for bothering to look at my problem!
LIGHTNING UK!
Well that's magic. Something tells me the drive fixed itself - maybe after you ejecting and reinserting the disc a few times. If the drive reports there's no disc in it, no software can do anything with it.
