vinegar
Hello, Is it possible to close/finalize (using ImgBurn) a DVD-R which contains videos has been previously recorded with another pc/program? I've tried to do so but I got an error message. I can see disc space available on this DVD so I guess it's unfinalized yet? Thank you
LIGHTNING UK!
Right click the drive selection box and use close track / session / disc (in that order).
vinegar
Hi Lightning UK, I did the following: opened ImgBurn / Verify disc / Tools menu / Drive => Close... track/session/disc. It can't seem to work, am I doing it correctly? Edited October 15, 2010 by vinegar
LIGHTNING UK!
I expected some of those commands to fail, don't worry. Yours is a multisession disc and you probably can't close a session when it's empty. So basically, you're out of luck. Point Build mode at the root of that drive (i.e. add 'D:\' to the source box) and make a new ISO, then burn it.
vinegar
Thanks very much for your help Lightning It's not really important to me to close these discs at the moment. I just was curious to try it using ImgBurn. I'll keep in mind your suggestion for the future. Thanks again
