Disc ejected on read error

Hey!

Tried searching but couldn't find much about this particular issue (/annoyance) so I'll try asking.

I'm trying to read (from DVD to .ISO) an old and somewhat scratched disc. I'm getting quite a few read errors (not surprised) but the annoyance is, every time ImgBurn hits a read error, it ejects the disc and I'll have to push it back in for it to continue. It continue for a few seconds (judging by the sector numbers in the log it gets past the problem too) just to find a new error and eject again.

Now the disc is bad and not even that important, so even if this doesn't work it's fine, I'm just trying to do some salvaging for fun. The annoyance is that I have to sit here and push the disc back every 15 or so seconds because it keeps ejecting instead of just retrying. Is there any way to stop it doing this? One thing is the annoyance but also because of the time to speed up and down it takes such a long time. I've tried selecting an option about "auto 'abort' on error" under autoloaders, didn't do anything.

Bonus question in the end: upon retrying it seems to continue, and the next error reports issue on a higher sector; does this mean it could read the first sectors fine on the first retry, or did it skip it meaning I'm wasting my time here? Log is attached for details

Start of the log (been going on for a while so this thing is soooo long, but it's just endlessly repeating with new sectors so you get the gist of it)

Just to repeat: I understand why the errors appear, the disc is bad, that's fine. I'd just want it to stop ejecting every single error, as obviously there is alot of them. I've had trouble with another disc before, but then it went trough all 20 attempts before giving up and giving me an error message, not sure why it ejects now on the first error, don't recall anything having changed since then.

Thanks for any help in advance!
