Can't burn?...

Hello people. This is my first post here so I won't take much of your time (I hope).

 

Well.. I tried to burn but it simply won't work... Seems very odd to me because it worked before...

 

 

I'll post some screen shots for ya..

See? It's like "grey" where you press to burn...

 

Write mode is activaded, yes.

 

 

Plus.. this .iso fil is odd.. Take a look at how it looks like...

Dumb question....Is there a blank disk in the drive?

I'm really hoping that not having media in the drive IS NOT the issue here!

 

But yeah, the status bar message is currently our biggest clue.

 

Drives that don't support the discs they have in them also use that message (well, some do), so that would be my guess at the moment.

look under help->imgburn logs or if the programme is running just press 'L' on your keyboard.

 

firmware updates add new discs to the drives write strategies and improve on existing strategies on some discs

And download and run the firmware update. Read the readme in it before you run it (in particular, ensure no disk is in the drive).
