using dvd-r, wont finalize! Please help!

I would greatly appreciate any help. Ive been trying to burn onto a dvd for sooo long with no luck. I thought I had it with this program. I still think i could with your help. Here's the log...........

Suggestions please. Im thinking the discs maybe but could definately be wrong. Any ideas experts? Thanks

1. Update your drive's firmware.

2. Get some different discs, the drive doesn't like those CMC MAG. AM3 ones.

 

Get some Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs instead.

 

 

Thanks for the reply. Im at work now but Im gonna try to go to best buy to get some new media. Which would you totally recommend (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd +rw, etc.)??? Above is the log file and these are the types of files that I'm going to be burning 99% of the time. Forgive me for my ignorance! New at the dvd burning hobby..... Thanks again

 

Im going to try to update the firmware, with the link you sent, tonight and burn with the new media. Hopefully everything works okay!!

in the USA officemax has verbatims on sale

 

about the best media from stores

 

with your drive I would stick with the dvd-r's as I doubt it will bitsett the dvd+r's to dvd-rom
