Your burner only supports the 4x write speed on the media you are using.

thanks mmalves but i have a couple of questions..

1. will the update let me burn at 2.4x?

2. when i tried to run the latest update it threw me a message saying "can't find suitable drive for F/W"

what does this mean? how can i fix it? or is there any other way to install the driver update?

thanks in advance

that was my guess but..

is there a way to change that so it would let me burn at 2.4x without changing the dvd/drive/burner? D:

thanks!

ps: im a noob so.. plz understand (:

1- no

2- it's probably because your system's SATA controller is using the wrong driver. Look for the latest drivers for it (hint: use SIW to identify the controller).

It was a good burn and verified fine, so why do you need 2.4x so badly?

i tried to install the almost-newest update and it went fine, SB02

SIW..? software? sorry idk what that is :/

and because somehow if its not at that exact speed my device wont load it :/

ps: just being hopeful here, i guess what the answer is anyway..

is there ANY way at all to make my drive burn at 2.4x without having to get a new one? again, thanks in advance :)

its not that it wont load, but i've heard that to burn xbox360 iso's they have to be burnt at 2.4x otherwise it wont work D:

and dont get me wrong, i'd gladly buy original games or another burner but here in my coutry things like that are SO expensive

an original game's worth around 100$, and a burner around 70$!

calculate that to the average-lowest payment rate: 350$ :/ a MONTH!

plz? help a noob D:

The info you 'heard' is rubbish.

ok so.. basically the 4x burn i just made will run prefectly? :D plz say yes

Posted

Why don't you test it for yourself? Just play the game to the end!

i cant really do that right now D: thats why i came for advice in here, oh wise ppl xD

now seriously, does what LIGHTNING UK! say means that it will run smothly or not?

again, thanks in advice and sorry for being such a pain in the butt (:

As far as we can tell it's a good burn so it should work fine.

ok then, i guess i´ll just have to try it! :D

thanks to everyone that tried to answer my questions, i know i can get a lil' frustrating from time to time!
