  1. Exactly. After using Test mode this checkbox stays 'on' on the following sessions and there are good chances some careless user (like me) will not notice it was checked. I think it's a good idea to add an (optional) messagebox 'You are currently in Test mode. Continue?', or, maybe switch 'Test mode' checkbox off automatically after ending the Test session.
  2. After switching to 'Test mode' this checkbox stays checked for the following sessions until unchecked explicitly. And checked 'Test mode' checkbox is the only visual notification for this. I have already burned 4 false sessions thinking that I'm in normal write mode being currently in 'Test'. Can we have more drastic 'Test mode' visual notification for such inattentive users like me? Smth like yellow blinking label 'Test mode' or smth like this?
  3. Update: I was able to create a correct CUE file from these mp3s after applying the Foobar2000 command 'Fix VBR mp3 headers'. As of our old id3v2.4 thread: yes, the id3v2.4 are not supported on WinXP, but it seems they are fully supported on Win7. At least other mp3 files with id3v2.4 tags are decoded successfully with ImgBurn when using Win7. After fixing the VBR mp3 header the files in question were decoded successfully as well. Interesting: under WinXP the CUE file from mp3 with id3v2.4 tag was created successfully, the error appeared on writing stage. In my current case with broken (?) VBR header the error appeared right on the CUE file creation stage. After fixing the VBR mp3 header there are no errors at all. I can send you the 'corrected' mp3 file if you like to examine the difference between the broken one and the corrected one. Are you interested in this?
  4. I'm not sure this is the reason for the errors. I'm using id3 v2.4 for all of my mp3 files and they are processed well on my machine with Win7. Here is a screenshot of the _problem_ files: and here is a screenshot of the files with id3 v2.4, which are processed by ImgBurn without problem:

  6. Another extra step is to delete the CUE file created only for audio CD burning after successful burning session. Please, add audio CD burning from temporary CUE file!.. I always forget to delete temporary CUE files - so most of my MP3 folders contains these orphan files... Burning audio CD from a temp CUE file (which will be deleted after successful burning) seems to be an easy and elegant solution. Thank you.
  7. Thanks for your answer. Can you enlighten me: should I wait a couple of days for the new build, or just download Burrrn? Is there a chance to see the new ImgBurn build in the near future? Update: Or, maybe, I should ask you to give me access to a beta build (to check if the current issue id fixed)?
  8. Hi! I was trying to burn an audio CD from mp3-files. After creating the CD CUE file and analyzing tracks ImgBurn tryed to start burning, but failed with an 'Read from file error'. What may be wrong here? The files are available and accessible. Here is the log: I 16:09:15 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!I 16:09:15 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6001 : Service Pack 1) I 16:09:15 Total Physical Memory: 3
  9. Hi! I installed IB 2.4.1.0 on a PC with no cdwriters available. Now I'm trying to open some cue-file in Write mode. The 'Write' button is disabled: If I click on 'View image information' button and then hit 'OK' the 'Write' button becomes enabled: Is this a bug?
  10. That's it! I'm using ID3 v2.4 for tagging my mp3 collection (MP3Tag, Foobar2000). Is it possible to specify command-line decoder for decoding mp3-files to wav in IB (say, Lame?)? If there is a chance to see an updated IB version which will support ID3 v2.4 tags (maybe, beta?) or should I try to 'enable' ID3 v2.4 tags support in WinXP? And there are two related request/suggestions: 1) The default file name for newly created CD CUE file is the name of the first audio track. Don't you think it's a good idea to set default CD CUE file name to Disc (or Session) names CD text if they are used? 2) Right now. when I'm burning an audio CD, I'm forced to save the CD CUE file and delete it after successful burning. Don't you think it is a good ides to implement some kind of quick 'on a fly' burning without saving/delete the CD CUE file manually? I notice the 'Quick OK' button in CD CUE creation dialog. Is this for smth like this? Thank you!
  11. Hi! Please, let me understand, what may be wrong: I'm creating a simple test CD CUE file, trying to write an audio CD with one song: "c:\MP3\ABC\1983 - BEAUTY STAB\05 - Beauty Stab.mp3".
