  1. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA =)) =)) Regards
  2. Having XP on that boat anchor of a PC is risky at best. A wonder it boots at all. It's time for a new machine Guto and donate your machine to a meseum Regards
  3. Same for the R03 +Rs which I had hundreds of successful burns with. Now, I wouldn't touch 'em. Profits come first for Ritek. Regards
  4. That's all of it? Don't suppose you've considered upgrading to version 2.1??? Regards
  5. @redsierra Sorry we are being a bit obtuse, but we can't help with the backup process, only with the burn. Let's assume that somehow you got a set of files, data or video, layerbreak or not, it doesn't matter. To burn them, just follow the guide about build mode. Regards
  6. And for DVD+R DL there's no need to specify the L0 data zone capacity. It will be ignored anyway, IIRC. Regards
  7. Yes, either VobBlanker or DVD Remake Pro can split a cell at any i-frame. Regards
  8. Sounds like the drive does not like whatever blanks you are using. But do post a log please. Regards
  9. How were they split? If with WinRAR, there's a re-combine feature, IIRC. Regards
  10. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Please post a full log. While you are at it, change your media from lousy Ritek to Verbatim DLs. Regards
  11. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Check your DMA settings. Also heavy file fragmentation can slow things down, but not by that much. Regards
  12. Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. ImgBurn simply writes files to disk and does not get them from your DVD to your PC. You need to have the files on your hard disk first. In terms of build mode, please read the illustrated guides in our guides section. They go over all your queries, including setting the layer break. Regards
  13. A sector is 2k, so 16 sectors = 32k Regards
  14. K, thanks. Might give PerfectDisk a go. Regards
  15. Perhaps to rid thyself of all CMC/Ritek F1/D1 disks in the poster's posession? Regards
  16. I like his av, too Regards
  17. It's been a while since I've used PgcEdit to burn and he may well have changed things a bit. Thanks for the info. Regards
  18. Is Diskeeper no good? And I remember QEMM. I still can't figure out between extended and expanded memory though, db! Regards
  19. @LUK! Before pressing "burn", I used to check what the LB looked like (nervous nellie that I am). It had written to that field (via CLI). I guess after closing the prog, the settings revert to calc optimal? Regards
  20. You oughta see what he does to wombats! Regards
  21. The only time to use "User Specified", IMO, is if you build the image already - eg in PgcEdit with mkisofs and you just wanna burn. In that case, I know PgcEdit passes the LB info on thru this setting. But do ensure it is turned back to "optimal" later. Also, looking back at my first post - it was kinda silly (this is not unusual ). Inserting 16 sectors of padding is useless, since the original LBA would be a multiple of 16. Regards
  22. @Shamus Don't have 5c. Firey took all my cash (as is usual!) She did leave me with 2c to continue posting here though, if that helps Plus the verify settings page has too much spare space Regards
  23. It's just a regular DVD with no extras (thank God) and muxed at or near the highest mux rate (9.8Mbps). Often almost a constant bitrate of around 8Mbps Regards
  24. Inserting 2c. Of course it takes little processor, but some folks might wanna set their priority. Bloody run outa time again. You're a shyster Shamus! Regards
