I am surprised at you donta !!

Didn't someone want to do this for a the "Heigh ho" song from Snow White in the dim and distant past ?

Other than what digi said you should ensure you are using Verbatim DVD+R DL's ideally the MKM 001 dye and then you are giving yourself the best chance of success. Other dual layer media is shitty and that's being kind.....

All good points above, especially the jitter score but to me a scan quality score of 96.18% isn't too bad, as Corny said it would be lower with jitter but on the whole I would think this would be ok.....

Really any in depth guide should be written by the programs author, Nic W, that said one of the beta team, posted a nice topic on this a while back.....

Hopefully this will tell you a bit more about the scan results produced with ImgBurn. Failing that a search on Google might help, I remember just experimenting with it when I first installed it. The others will tell you I am no expert but it was reasonably intuitive from memory.

This may help, looks like the pics from the guide have gone walkabout but updating fw as suggested by both corny and blu is quite straight forward, post back if you need any help with it.
You may also do better if you cap the burn speed to 8x as well but I would do the firmware (fw) update first.

Yeah ? Mmm I don't see any problems with my setup on discs that have passed an ImgBurn verify, maybe if I did then I would I need to look at those again then. The way I work is that I use ImgBurn to burn and verify and then if there are problems I look at PI/PIF scans to see how bad things really are

I always verify. Noobs or not, I recommend it.
Regards
Good advice, I have always verified right back from when I started with ImgBurns predecessor, after all I am not so busy that I can't spare a few more minutes

All funny and I like the film too !

I would concur with the opinion on Pioneers, solid reliable and great burns

How old is the DVD drive ? Does it still play DVD's and or CDs ok ? What discs are you using, ideally the Media ID on the discs if you happened to notice before the drive went off ?
