  1. Really any in depth guide should be written by the programs author, Nic W, that said one of the beta team, posted a nice topic on this a while back.....

Hopefully this will tell you a bit more about the scan results produced with ImgBurn. Failing that a search on Google might help, I remember just experimenting with it when I first installed it. The others will tell you I am no expert but it was reasonably intuitive from memory.

Verbatim_logo.gifVerbatim has issued a warning on its corporate website for Australia and New Zealand about an unauthorized supply of 16X DVD's1.gif that use MID codes of Verbatim1.gif and related companies. Here is the company's warning...

Verbatim Corporation has concerns regarding the unauthorised supply in Australia by Laser Corporation Holdings Pty Ltd of some Laser brand 16X DVD's which use MID codes of Verbatim or its related companies.

Disk identification shows that these Laser brand 16X DVD's are not from production facilities approved by Verbatim or its related companies and so may be of different quality or performance as disks from production facilities approved by Verbatim or its related companies.

Verbatim is without any responsibility for the quality or performance of these Laser brand 16X DVD's.

In addition, Laser's supply of these 16X DVD's in Australia may infringe copyright.

Verbatim and its related companies reserve their legal rights in respect to the supply in Australia by Laser of these 16X DVD's.

  3. Yeah ? Mmm I don't see any problems with my setup on discs that have passed an ImgBurn verify, maybe if I did then I would I need to look at those again then. The way I work is that I use ImgBurn to burn and verify and then if there are problems I look at PI/PIF scans to see how bad things really are :)

 Ah so you did start a topic ;) I have just replied to your PM on the same topic, basically saying the same as donta just did !
  4. I always verify. Noobs or not, I recommend it.

    Regards

Good advice, I have always verified right back from when I started with ImgBurns predecessor, after all I am not so busy that I can't spare a few more minutes :)
