  1. Yep I am up in the NW part of the state about 600 miles from where the storm went in. It's turning cool here, mid 60's during the day and low 40's at night. Hurricanes don't like this kind of weather and thank God because we have had enough of them up this way in the last few years.

  2. thanks will do .Went out tonight and stocked up on food and water I have a generator that will run most of the things in my house , topped off the car and filled a 5 gallon gas can for the generator so I think I'm ready

I'm up in NW Fl and we have had gas shortages up two weeks after storms and with what little gas there was left there lines blocks long. You just can't get gas and it takes forever to get gas back in. Like the world is at a end. A real nightmare!

  3. @polo

I use to live there in WPB about 30 years ago. Well if this storm makes it's turn like they say, it looks like it's going to come out close to you between Monday and Tuesday. There forecasting a cat 2 for Florida landfall, but hell it could be higher or lower once it travel across the Gulf waters. I'm sure the water is still warm there but not as warm as it was back in August. Stay safe and hope all goes well!

  4. Well l8nights, I was using DVD Rebuilder for a couple of months, started out with the freeware version first, then donated at the last second for the Pro Version, Quenc was the first one I ever tried, Quality sucked big time, I still need to learn alot about this program to get better quality

I am using the FV with HC encoder and getting excellent results!

  5. =)) ...... that was a good one. All in one!

WHat's so funny about that? <_<

I don't mate what is so funny about it? Why don't you read other posts on the board and do a little research about the author and you will see why the request is quite humorous.

  6. Am I just wondering around out here in left field or doesn't creating a ISO from a original DVD mean that the program (IB) would half to to decrypt the disk in order to create the file. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like LUK would be wright back in the same sinking boat he just got out of.

If it is a DVD without CSS (ie any DVD produced from a home camera/DVD recorder/burned to a DVD-R/RW/+R/RW), or a commercial DVD without CSS, then nothing has to be decrypted to read/copy/extract from the DVD.

AFAIK, the legal issues had NOTHING to do with reading DVDs, but the actual decryption of the DVD (ie breaking CSS while reading the DVD), and if the program were limited to only DVDs without CSS (ie non-encrypted DVDs), then there would be no legal issues.

I personally use the IFO mode of the previous gen to read non-encrypted DVDs all the time, which is completely legal.

I understand what you are saying and you don't half to explain to me your intentions.

My comment was directed mostly to everyone who has this idea. I can't speak for LUK, but I don't ever think you will see this option in ImgBurn and why, because he was in a world of shit over decrypter. It would have probably been just as easy for him to remove the decrypting routine in DVDD and rename the program something else which allowed it to read non-CSS protected disk, but he chose not to have a damn thing to do with a reader, just a burner and I can't blame him at all on that decision!

I can understand this request if you had a VIDEO_TS folder on your HD that was created from another ripping program and IB had the option to read those files and create a ISO and then burn your DVD. Now that would be nice!
