If I burn FLAC to CD-Audio and the files have replay gain calculated and stored on FLAC-tags, does imgburn apply that info to the audio settings while burning or does it ignore it completely?
I would prefer that imgburn ignore the meta-data and just burn the FLAC track like it were a ripped as a wave, or should I remove the replay gain before burning the tracks to CD-Audio to be sure?
I don't know if it is because of the drive, or if it is with imgburn, but I have noticed when the burner is about to jump to L1, burning briefly pause until it switches to L1 and resumes, is this by the drive or just the way imgburn handles DLs?
The only basis I have to compare is that I had a working laptop, and the drive on that was also a supermulti, but when I burned DLs with that I had Nero 8, and each time I burned DLs, the burning process was continuous, the disc never sped down or anything, it just went seamlessly.
Now I am using an LG supermulti drive along with imgburn instead of Nero, but I am wondering, is it imgburn responsible for the speed down and pause during the layer jump, or is it the drive? And why is there is brief pause? Or maybe Nero actually pauses as well its just that I never noticed?
...Ok nevermind, now I no longer get the error page, and I was able to actually now find the edit sig option, though before that it wasn't even there. Rather strange hiccup I suppose?
While trying to check my own profile by clicking on my name on the top right hand,
The context box reads:

manage ignored users
So I click on 'my profile' and I get this instead:
An Error Occurred
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.
[#10245] You are not permitted to view member profiles.
I tried clearing cookies, cache, etc, but it still persists.
Also where do I edit my sig? I've looked under the help section and it says:
Change About Me Page
Here you can change the content of the 'about me' section on your profile.
Here you can change your signature that is displayed at the bottom of posts.
Here you can change your photo that is displayed in your profile and other areas on the community.
Here you can change your avatar which is the image that displays next to your posts.
Manage Ignored Users
Here you can manage your ignored users. You can choose to ignore all posts from a member, block them from sending you personal messages, or both.
But when I go to my profile all I see is Change About Me, Change Photo, Change Avatar, Manage Ignored Users, but no Change Signature? I even checked Change Profile Information, still not there. What gives?
Hello, newbie here!
And of course before I start: IMGBURN is EXCELLENT!
Well space on my external HD was getting tight, I copied a lot of DVDs (especially dual layers), and I had no choice but to burn them. Since I was hard pressed for DVDs I gave in and bought TDK +R DLs. Yes yes I know, bad bad VERY bad, but I had no choice. I see this as a temporary solution until I can get Verbatims and copy them over to the Verbatims. Interestingly enough I haven't had any issues WRITING and READING these discs on my LG super-multi drive (HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NP20 2.00).

Anyways though my set top dvd player doesn't like these discs. What I do find interesting is that the burner itself can read any DL disc I have burned just fine. I guess the pc dvd drives are just better than set top players somehow?
Online is always the way to go, however now I am noticing that even the quality of Verbatims (through reviews) can on rare occasion be hit-or-miss. This due to the fact that where the discs were manufactured, usually India or Taiwan would be the issue.
It is interesting also that for optical media for the most part Taiwan sucks, yet hardware such as burners(?) are actually decent? Why is that?
When entering the closing track phase and then the finalizing disc phase, it would be nice to have a progress bar for that, especially for the finalizing bit since sometimes I feel that I don't know when it will finish. Usually I notice longer finalization times when burning DVDs (single and double).

You got a point there.
