One thing for sure, they are not being magnanimous. They are only against it because it would cost them more money. Even though they would pass their additional costs along to their users I am sure that they feel they would wind up losing too may users. The U.S. House Judiciary Committee has approved a bill upholding Net Neutrality, which will prevent ISPs from creating tiered services that prioritize data depending on how much money one is paying. The largets network providers are promoting the concept, but major bandwith users like Microsoft and Google are dead-set against it. The bill must be approved by the full Senate and House before it becomes law.
I'm impressed that Google and Microsoft are against it given the staggering amount of bandwidth these guys would need and use. Then again, perhaps that's why they're against it.

I am QUITE suprised. I have NEVER seen you or LFC talk like that before. The both of you should be unless you each promise to refrain from such language.0100111001101001011000110110010100100000011011000110100101101110011010110010000011011000110011001100011001011000010000001011001011001010111001100100000010010010

Considering that less then .5% (not a typo) of my many burns with both Verbatim DVD-R 8x and DVD+R DL 2.4x discs have had problems I personally would consider them "Top of the Heap".

I thought it was an advance copy of Vista.Err.... wasn't that Armageddon with Bruce Willis? Independence Day was the one with the Aliens using Windows XP on their mothership without a firewall. <cough> -
...meanwhile, on the planet Xilo db awakens, from a beer induced sleep, to find all of his body parts laying on a dinner plate next to him.

If by "Your loss" you mean me personally you are wrong. I don't come here to take things from people. I come here to try and help. If something is offered by others (like LUK) it doesn't come with strings attached. If by "Your loss" you don't mean just me but everybody here, then that just shows me how petty you are. If you actually have something that people here could use and you deny them the item because you have a problem with what I perceive you to be, you are VERY immature. Sort of like the child who tells others that unless they play ball his way he is going to take he ball and leave.Sorry I've given you that impression, and just to live up to your impression of me I need to say "Your loss" -
You come across, at least to me, as an arrogant, cocky person. I believe you have an unhealthy need to control evereything you're involved with including this forum. I really don't want to have anything to do with you. I'll just leave it a that.

Shamus, I agree with Kev, well said!
I have felt for some time that he was being very overbearing with his posting and constant complaining of what LUK is/was doing. Even thought I have been around since the old site I didn't think it was my place to be the first to post anything.
