  1. Wow 43 pages, that should keep you busy for a while. I have an LG GSA E10N external if thats any good. Its ok, but I sometimes wonder if the read rates a bit slow. The Pioneer 112 seems one of the must haves at the moment. Don't think you can go far wrong with LiteOn from what I've read...

  2. I'm old enough to have watched the first doctor - whom I wasn't very keen on - he seemed crabby all the time. And Star Trek when it was first shown, Lost in Space (mostly for Judy), Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants, Mission Impossible, Danger Man & The Prisoner, Fireball XL5, UFO, Department S, The Champions, Man in a Suitcase, Adam Adamant, The Rat Catchers, Redcap, The Untouchables, Beverly Hillbillies, Rawhide, The Dick Van Dyke show, Bonanza, The Munsters, The Addams Family, My Favorite Martian, The Man from UNCLE, Get Smart, Bewitched...

  3. Thanks for the link mmalves. Seems the Ram format is superior to -/+RW and the discs are getting cheaper.

Thanks for the info lfc - much appreciated. Your Panasonic seems the dog's dangly bits able to record to all formats - no wonder you're pleased with it - whereas my mate's will only record to Ram disc.

  4. My friend has a Dvd Recorder which will only record to Dvd Ram discs which are very expensive. What are these discs? and would it be possible to change +RW discs through some kind of booktyping to Dvd Ram?

  5. I watched the first one cringing...waiting for the accident to happen.

The second one was very bizarre...the black position was lost anyway, but why move the rook? Either an exchange of Queens or Bishop to e7 seem more logical.

  6. I agree with whats being said here - its all done in the true spirit of the internet, bringing people together, with a common cause for mutual benefit. In a world where cash is king and exploitation has replaced consideration whats being done here, and has been done for many years in different ways, is truly remarkable and worthy of admiration.

So take a bow LUK! & the Beta team and very well done.

  7. =)) That bloke hitting the lubricant can brought tears to my eyes...and did you see the 'Time to reconsider career choice' one?...had me in fits. As you say future Darwin winners in training...
  8. =)) Reminds me of female police officers in America they used to call Dickless Tracys...

Don't want to worry anybody, but when i clicked the link to have a look my McAfee SiteAdvisor turned red. The report was: When we tested this site we found links to usagc.org, which our analysis found to be deceptive or fraudulent.

  9. Amazing what people get up to. I used to teach young women a magic trick where by rubbing the head of a snake they could make a volcano erupt.

The rest of the site is very interesting. I've been reading about the Smelling Jars of the Stasi, The Hanging Temple of Hengshan, The Vanuatu Bungee Jumpers who actually try and brush the ground with their hair, The Thousand-Hand Bodhisattva, worth a look, Stilts Across Niagara, How to Lift the Earth, the only piece of art on the Moon, and loads more.

Another nice find Shamus, thanks
