Manco Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Hi All. I'm wondering if someone can help me. I've searched but haven't found what I'm looking for. When I choose "preview selected cell" for the layer break I get sound but no video. What am I doing wrong? Thanks,
mmalves Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Go to Tools -> Settings, enable the option "Don't Use DirectDraw Overlays" and click OK. Now try again and see if you get video.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Hmm weird that it wouldn't work under XP, I never had an issue with it. Normally the overlays thing only has to be disabled under Vista and that's done automatically. Any idea what graphics card you have? Are you running the latest driver?

I have an Alienware laptop that I bought 2006. It has an Nvidia 7800 GTX graphics card. I have the 84.63 driver for it. I've seen some higher driver versions for this card but their not from Alienware so I'm a little concerned about using them. Edited April 19, 2009 by Manco
