igl Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 hi! I'm puzzled, so many choices and I would like to know which one would you define as 'best' or 'optimal'
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Yeah that one will do. Are you burning onto DVD-R DL media there btw?
igl Posted April 22, 2009 Author Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) only +R DL Edited April 22, 2009 by igl
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Are you making an image rather than burning direct then? I ask this because it appears to be padding to the exact same LBA - which is what happens when the media is DVD-R DL or you set the double layer media profile to DVD-R DL.
mmalves Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 With the blank disc in the drive, please copy all the text shown in the Information box under the Device tab.
igl Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 its SCSI because its connected to a PCI Controller PLEXTOR DVDR PX-760A 1.07 (SCSI)Current Profile: DVD+R DL Disc Information:Status: EmptyErasable: NoFree Sectors: 4.173.824Free Space: 8.547.991.552 bytesFree Time: 927:32:74 (MM:SS:FF)Supported Write Speeds: 4x; 6x; 8x; 10x DVD
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 None of that adds up then. Your screenshot must have been from when you had 'Output' set to 'Image File' or when you had a DVD-R DL in the drive.
