Ach3r0n Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 At first I thought I was going mad but alas it's a small bug. My settings (i.e. Disable sounds) are still present if I close and restart the program. However they are lost after a reboot. p.s. Thanks for the best damn burning app there is, free or paid.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I expect something on your system is wiping them out after a reboot then or you have a corrupt profile. Of course it could just be that you're loading ImgBurn via a 3rd party tool (i.e. DVDFlick) and they're not saved (on purpose).
Ach3r0n Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 (edited) Nope, not loading via any other software. I'll check the profile issue but this is a fresh OS install (not saying it can't happen though). It's odd that it only happens in ImgBurn though. I'm not sure which other apps I have store settings in the registry but I'm sure there's at least a few. Edited May 6, 2009 by Ach3r0n
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 It's impossible (so far as ImgBurn is concerned) for them to be remembered between opening / closing / reopening the program but then forgotten at a reboot. Either they're written to the registry or they're not.
