this is all i get then it hangs for some reason

Do you have the latest drivers for the SATA controller where the drive is connected to? Could you try the drive on other SATA ports? What's the brand and model of your motherboard?

Try installing this driver from Nvidia. Also make sure you have the latest BIOS version available. How's the SATA Operation Mode configured in your BIOS?

ok installed driver and went through faq and saw that reg file ran that and now this is what I get and it hangs also

Ok so your machine/drive is hanging when ImgBurn sends this command to your drive...

Either the drive itself is blocking the command/hanging or some software on your machine is.

 

Disconnect that drive (or disable it in device manager) and the problem will go away.

I am having a similar problem. This is the message I get:

I'm only semi-computer-savvy. I don't know what the heck that means. Help please!
