kloudzen Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Hi guys, I'm hoping someone has experienced a similar issue to mine and can help me out here...I'm trying to burn an image onto DVD-R's but keep getting errors during the process...I've tried changing the burn speed but still no help I'm guessing my DVD-ROM might require a firmware update since I haven't updated since purchasing my laptop in 07. However I can't find any update links for my DVD drive and I've already wasted 3 DVDs sigh... Anyways below is the log - I hope someone can assist! Thanks in advance... LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 If you've tried 4x and 8x and neither work, try some better discs - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. If they both fail, try cleaning the drive. If it still fails to burn the decent (Verb / TY) media after cleaning, get yourself a new external drive.
