LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Your drive is complaining about the media. Look for a firmware update for it and try giving it a clean. You might also like to try burning at 4x rather than 2.4x (1x isn't even an option with your drive/media/firmware combo). If all else fails, buy a new drive.
mmalves Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I 00:01:31 Destination Device: [0:0:0] Slimtype DVDRW SSM-8515S GS06 (D:) (ATA) Update the burner's firmware to the latest version (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it has finished). Also try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. //edit too slow again

mmalves Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Try with a real browser (portable version if you prefer).
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 It's probably the leech protection stuff. Let the referral info go through and it should work - maybe your firewall is blocking it?
