suds Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 New ImgBurn (2.4.4.0) software settings causing coasters for DVD-DL to DVD-ROM on a XBOX360. I have tried several computers using both Windows XP and Vista 64. The log shows that it is a DVD-ROM. However, the PC and XBOX both indicated it is a playable DVD. The older versions of ImgBurn worked without issue. What am I doing wrong? See attached log of latest burn/coaster... I have tried changing the Book Type to force DVD-ROM. However, I never receive notice that my burner accepts the change. This was not an issue with earlier versions of ImgBurn. Thanks, suds ImgBurn.log

LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Your problem is nothing to do with ImgBurn, it's to do with your console and what you're attempting to play on it. I cannot go into more detail, sorry.
suds Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 I would agree, but it doesn't work. I have tried two different images on two different computers/burners with two different OS's. All with the same results. This was never a problem with earlier versions of Imgburn. Or at least I never ran into problems. I did notice this in the log: I 09:56:04 Book Type Setting: N/A Is this what might be causing the problem? If I place this "DVD-ROM" into my PC I can read the files. It actually has AUDIO_TS, VIDEO_TS and a $SystemUpdate folder which should not be present AFAIK.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 and a $SystemUpdate folder which should not be present AFAIK. Your knowledge is now out of date. Like I said, this is a console issue and nothing to do with ImgBurn. Direct your questions at an xbox related forum please - or search and then you wouldn't need to!
