tinorarocket
I am trying to burn a dual layer disc and it keeps getting stuck on "Writing LeadIn." I left it go for about 8 hours hoping that it would eventually work. It did not. I am running Windows Vista and I have a Pioneer DVD burner. A few thoughts: My computer is a fairly new system and I wish I would have bought a SATA burner instead of an IDE, as I have already had numerous problems with this one. Could this be part of the problem? Also, I have read in countless posts that I should use Verbatim media. I just thought that I would post my log and see what you guys had to say about it and if that's the suggestion I get then I'll definitely go pick up some Verbatim DL DVDs but would also like to use up the few Memorex ones I have left. Here is my log: I 07:11:58 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! LIGHTNING UK!
Try 6x or 8x. If they don't work, go for the verbatims or buy a drive that's known to write on those ritek's ok.
