mmalves Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Try this firmware update (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot the computer after it's finished). Burn at 8x or 12x for best results, and if it still doesn't work, then try with better media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden.

Thank you for trying to help, I downloaded the file and unfortunately my winzip has expired and cant unzip it. Any other suggestions? Maybe I can download it without the use of winzip?
mmalves Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 As far as I know, they always did Windows XP and newer have a built-in ZIP extract feature (a.k.a zipfldr.dll) but it seems most people disable it or use a program that takes over.
